On March 13, 2008, The Lebanese Information Center held an event commemorating the 3rd anniversary of the Lebanese Cedar Revolution at the US Capitol.  The event was co-hosted by Congressman Garry Ackerman, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on the Middle East and South Asia. 

The guest speaker at the event was Dr. Samir Geagea, president of the Lebanese Forces Party.  Dr. Geagea was accompanied by Lebanon's Minister of Tourism, Mr. Joe Sarkis and member of the Lebanese Parliament, Mrs. Sethrida Geagea.
