The Lebanese Information Center in the US
congratulates Congressman Ray LaHood on his
confirmation as Secretary of Transportation in
President Obama’s new Cabinet.
Through endless years of devoted service to the
American people in Congress, Ray LaHood has
proven to be an outstanding public official. His
excellent performance, which earned him great
respect that extended beyond partisan lines,
affirms our belief in his ability to play a
leading role in government during these
challenging times.
The Lebanese people, with whom Secretary LaHood
shares his ancestry, are very proud today of his
achievement. The LIC in the US and the
Lebanese-American community at large, join them
